Hello!

My name is Dr. Aiste VOLKYTE – DANTIS. I am a specialist registrar in periodontics at the King’s College London, Guy’s Hospital Dental Institute. I am a dentist, whose area of expertise is treatment of gum diseases – such as periodontitis, or receding gums.

I have completed my five-year Master of Dentistry programme in 2014 and received qualifications from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. In 2020 I have finished a two-year programme and received a Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Periodontology from the Dental Institute of the BPP University in Birmingham (presently College of Medicine & Dentistry). The same year I have started further periodontal training at the prestigious King’s College London. In addition to formal education, I constantly attend a number of courses to expand my knowledge. I am a member of the British Society of Periodontology and Implantology as well as European Federation of Periodontology. Due to my passion for continuous education, I have been nicknamed “forever student” by my friends and family.

I believe in holistic approach when it comes to gum treatment. I constantly emphasize to my patients that mouth is part of the body, thus in order to achieve healthy mouth, one has to improve general health.

People tell me that I have a cheerful, chatty and welcoming personality. Even the most nervous patients relax when they are having treatments with me. In addition to that, I constantly receive compliments on gentle hands. And it is not uncommon to hear patients snoring while I am performing gum treatments!
